Explore #7 of the 3 Eurovirgins and a Europro tour

Cooling Towers are like buses – who knew? You wait forever to explore one, and then two come along at once! After IM Cooling Tower our fourth location of the day was this little fella. I didn’t find it as visually interesting as IM Cooling Tower to be honest, but it didn’t hurt to pop in for a quick nose around. Just don’t ask me what a garden shed is doing plonked in the middle of a massive great cooling tower – I’ve got as much idea as you have.

My fondest memory from this explore was actually the makeshift picnic that we ate afterwards in the glorious spring sunshine, whilst sat in some industrial wasteland admiring the stunning vista of a flyover and a busy road. I laughed with the others that it’s quite a niche way to choose to spend a bank holiday weekend, but we were loving every minute of it. And to the locals who screamed “We love you!” to us from a passing car… well, shucks, we love you too! 😉
