This was my very first explore, and was successful beyond my wildest hopes. The site is a farmhouse and outbuildings in rural Norfolk, and from what I can gather has been empty since circa 2006. I visited with Dora P (aka Mrs X), and we were fully expecting to be unable to gain access to the farmhouse itself, but were pleasantly suprised!

Imagine our suprise when we moved through from the first barn to find this! This is the “roll” element of the farm’s pseudonym – I’m not saying anything about the “rock” element…

This outbuilding now has a fig tree growing through it!

Other main downstairs room, probably the Living Room? This section of peeling wallpaper reminds me of the quote from The Big Lebowski where Maude Lebowski talks of her art as being commended for being “strongly vaginal” for some reason… 😉

This was the only room which showed any real signs of vandalism. It was at this stage that we heard a vehicle pull up near to the farmhouse, followed my beeping of a car horn, and some voices. We thought that we had been rumbled, so dashed around so as to at least get a shot or two from the remaining rooms which hadn’t been explored. However, after about ten minutes it became obvious that the noise wasn’t directed at us, and we were able to conclude our explore of the farmhouse interior in peace.

give us a clue to the whereabouts please rock is a little vauge
Sorry, but keeping location deliberately vague so as to avoid any unwanted attention! With a little research/googling the location is relatively easy to find – after all I found it! Cheers, Adam X
Heh, whoo. An auspicious start, then. Shards of sunlight :o)
I loved this place Adam. Although when James and I visited there was definitely no steam roller.
A great explore non the less. You got some good shots too, did you go down into the cellar?

Cheers – yes did see the cellar, and room up the other little staircase off the kitchen, but didn’t include shots from there as they weren’t worth adding! 🙂
Ah yes I’d forgotten about that little room off the kitchen. That place really had it all didn’t it.
