This was a very quick stopover en route to meeting some friends for an evening of rooftopping in London. Turning up mid Saturday afternoon there were quite a lot of dog walkers and local residents in the very near vicinity, so I only managed to grab a couple of quick shots before we were on our way. Explore #2 of the ‘128mb SD Card Tour’ After exploring Oculus Tower, we unfortunately failed on our next couple of targets. We then headed high up into the mountains to this disused former NATO communications facility with a silly urbex codename, where we also planned to camp for the night. History (translated and rewritten from here and here) Station ‘Livorno’, atop Monte del Giogo, was one of 82 ‘ACE HIGH’ L-band troposcatter communications bases located in nine different NATO countries.…
