Another quick stopover on a recent day of solo exploring. I’d heard that there wasn’t a huge amount by way of interest here, but thought I’d tick it off the list anyway. As you will see the farmhouse is slap-bang in the middle of category:derp. The outbuildings were slightly more diverting, with a few bits and bobs, including a couple of trashed pianos, an old tea box, and an old blacksmith’s forge. On with the shots… nothing special I’m afraid!…

Explore #20: Bridge Farmhouse, Mettingham, Suffolk – November 2013

Just a very quick report this one, as there was not much remaining of interest. This 16th Century farmhouse was Grade II listed in 1986, but was noted as being “semi-derelict” when it was surveyed in June 1985. It’s clearly continued its slow decline to oblivion ever since… You know you’re scraping the barrel when you resort to including a black and white shot of a knackered old bicycle… Thanks for looking… the next report will be more exciting I…
