Explore #5 of ‘The Smell of Cheap Cologne Tour’
After our unexpected stopover at Preventorium Dolhain we continued our roadtrip on this this beautiful derelict wool and textiles factory…
This large factory was founded in the late 19th century, and specialised in the treatment and manufacture of wool and other textiles. Its doors closed after just over a century of operations, and now large parts of the site are falling into dereliction.
This was an enjoyable afternoon, taking it slow and bumping into several other groups of explorers who we chatted and swapped stories with. I really enjoyed all the old machinery and splashes of green in the overgrown parts…
