Just a very brief report this time… of what turned out to be a very brief revisit of Sevs – yes, we were busted within about 45 minutes by Michael the famous security guard!
Please see my previous reports for the history and other photos of this Asylum… including the most comprehensive report from my first 8-hour visit in November 2013 and my revisit by moonlight in May 2014 for something a little different.
Our Explore
We arrived before dawn, made our way inside, waited for it to get light, grabbed the first few corridor pictures… and then Michael caught us!
I spent a few minutes catching up with him, and when I explained that it was fellow explorer James’ first visit to Sevs he kindly gave us a few minutes to finish the ‘split corridor’ shot we were in the middle of taking, and agreed to escort us out via what remains of the morgue. 🙂
As always, click on a photo to VIEW LARGE
After a traditional post-explore breakfast at the nearby McDonalds we headed off to check out a nearby abandoned cinema… my report from there is coming up very soon.
Cheers

Suggest you go visit Essex County Hospital, Colchester. Co3 3NB. Opened 1820 and closed this year.
Thanks John. i’ve investigated and apparently the site is still being used until September 2016, but I’ll keep an eye out.
